Our 4th of July Weekend
We were able to spend a lot of family time together this weekend. Saturday we found a yard sale, went to the flea market, and went to the regional farmer’s market. All the beautiful produce and flowers were so inviting and colorful. We had a wonderful day together and brought home some fresh goodies :) One of my favorites was the jar of cherry butter we got! O Yum!
At The Cookout
One of the families from the church hosts an annual 4th of July cookout for all their family and friends. We had a wonderful time visiting with everyone. I wanted to get some pics of the kids in the patriotic colors and thought the family’s beautiful yard was the perfect backdrop.
Miriam was more interested in picking the flowers than getting her picture taken. ;)
Isaac also did not want to sit still. He was having fun running around the yard.
Look at my flowers!!! She was just a little excited. :)
We were all together for a quick second to get a family picture. Looking at it, I can’t believe how much Isaac has grown! He looks like such a big boy now!

I love going to the local markets! That was nice to pick up some fresh stuff! I am glad you guys got some family time too!!!
Love local markets! They are putting a new farmer's market right now down the street from me so I'll be able to walk there! Thanks for sharing the wonderful photos!
Annette, is the John Adams miniseries you're watching the one by HBO? That one is AMAZING. The quote that I mentioned on my blog is from the final moments of that series. I was really moved by it.
